Car of the Month - November 2009

I brought my figaro in sept' 08, I had wanted one for about three years, the first time I saw one it was pink and i thought that is it, so after a lot of saving it was time to start looking for a Figaro.

After looking a lot's of very unloved figaro's, i found one in a colour that my husband would also not be ashamed to drive (girls remember they will only fill your fig' up with petrol if they think that they look as cool as our cars) and that was reasonably mechanicaly sound, luckily hubby doesn't mind tinkering.

So i brought my very own Figaro home, and over last winter I took many cups of hot tea to a cold husband in the shed mainly just cleaning everything up, slowly i have been replacing the chrome strips, unfortunately the last owners done some very dodgy make-do's to keep things in place.

Unfortunately because of work i was unable to get fig 09 which i was aiming for to give her maiden public appearance, (the holiday form has already been logged for next year) so i am enjoying figgy at every chance i can, her colour isn't to every ones taste but, to me she is perfect, her radio was sent back to Clarion and refurbed' with a matching purple back light to the stereo, best part that stands figgy out from the crowd is her white wall tyres on figaro alloys, you just don't see many like this!
