Congratulations to Graham Foulston and his Figaro 'Ting Tong'. The car is a stunning example and brimming with gadgets and technology!
Grahams story - I bought my car privately in September 2008 and worked on the looks and the mechanics since then. I've bought many of the original factory accessories as I could find so far with the jewel in the crown (for me anyway) being the extremely rare boot rack. It was in a sorry state but I had the rack rechromed and all the brackets powder coated and it now looks brand new.
I concentrated a lot on the interior as well covering the dash, radio (Upgraded by Clarion), gear shift etc in a very glossy wood effect, probably not to everyones taste but I like it. I also intergrated my iPhone into the armrest which now talks to the radio via USB and it also plays all my MP3's (over 2000 tracks) from my iPhone through the radio.

Hey This is such a great Fig. I have a question though, i have a Fig with the new stereo made to look like the original, how did you get the ipod to sit nicely into the arm rest like that? is this a special kit? would i be able to do this myself? im so fed up with my ipod being placed on the passenger seat and footwell! Merci xx
Hi Graham, Well I suppose the best car won which is only fair. By the way I bought Dorris for my wife Glynda ,from Leanne Peel. She is now at her new home in Essex. Perhaps some Dorris and Ting Tong can get get together some time
